This unusual mirror is in entirely original condition, down to the corduroy backing and strut easel support. The spiral-ribbed cord-like glass surround is in three sections held in place by three ribbed brass bands. It has previously been hung on a wall which would be another option. For either a dressing table or a wall, this mirror is very versatile.
This kind of thick ribbed and spiraling glass is quite reminiscent of Baccarat but similar mirrors are often attributed to Seguso We are not certain of the specific origin but feel that it is both stylish and excellent quality.
