This bird is mainly yellow but with black wings, beak and tail feathers so is perhaps a canary. It cheeps tunefully and turns while doing so. The model retains its original leafy foliage, perch and brown ground. The brass cage is of the typical form used by this celebrated maker. The brass base is marked Made in Germany and Kend in a rhomboid.
