This form is rather rare. Harald Nielsen 1892-1977 was the designer and they are fully marked and with further discreet import marks for a sponsor, George Stockwell London 1929. This declares them as Art Deco period beyond question. The organic forms that so charmingly dominate much of Jensen's output are fully represented here with knop and central stem modelled as shaped petals and arms formed as stylised branches. Each is raised on an oval domed foot. As always the quality is exemplary, they are heavy and beautifully made. For an intimate dinner party there could be no better choice.

We have not found a name for this style. They are known prosaically as 537B.
