French Louis XV transitional style "Semainier." (A tall chest fitted seven drawers) of serpentine bombe form, great color with quarter-veneered and cross-banded marquetry, inlaid panels of flower sprays, swags and pendants. The sides are also serpentine in shape with king wood parquetry veneered. Appointed with gilt brass corner mounts, foliate handles, escutcheons and sabots. Beautiful sienna/mauve variegated marble top.
