This handsome and elegant table attracted our attention with its boldly figured surface and slender ribbed legs terminating in paw feet . Unlike a sideboard it has no cupboards so has a far lighter presence. The reeded frieze is a rather unusual counterpoint to the ribbed legs. The only alteration we have noted is a professionally added drawer in the frieze., which gives useful storage without compromising the overall appearance..
