This fine side cabinet is unusually small but crafted to the highest standard. The serpentine outline, cut-brass, ornamental mounts, and choice of timber are all of outstanding quality. It is centred with a large shaped silvered bronze panel of toilet of Venus with Cupid attending, in the manner of Clodion.
