Famously, Diogenese wandered the Streets of Athens with a lantern, searching in vain for an honest man. He also used to be seen naked in a barrel on occasion. There is a temperature gauge (with the mercury tube missing) and the lantern opens and is also an inkwell, the barrel is for pens.
We have not replaced the mercury tube on grounds of safety. It would be quite easy to do so if the new owner wanted to.
