This wonderful service is full of character, it has been lovingly assembled from antique and vintage pieces so there is minor variation in color from pale blue to deeper shades It has several rather rare and interesting serving pieces. It comprises:
Dinner plates
Luncheon Plates
Flat Soups
Salad Bowls
Bread plates
Far more than this, it offers a great selection of serving pieces that truly transform the table on those family occasions:
Large pair of vegetable or entree dishes.
Set of four candlesticks
Gravy boat (the type with the attached stand)
Butter boat (ideal for asparagus)
Toothpick holder
Chop dish (imagine a double sized dinner plate) ideal for serving chicken or steak or even chops.
Shaped square salad bowl
Pair of triangular small shallow dishes
Spoon rest
Chafing-dish stand, ideal, for fondue. You put one of those tea lamps in to keep something warm.

(A Chinese influence
Pattern no. 1, Blue Fluted Plain, was the first pattern to adorn the porcelain of Royal Copenhagen, then named The Royal Porcelain Factory, in 1775. At that time, porcelain production across Europe found inspiration from China, the birthplace of porcelain; its exports represented wealth and refined taste, and porcelain had become a valuable commodity. And so, with inspiration from Chinese patterns, the Blue Fluted Plain design came to life and was to be labeled as Pattern no. 1. To this day, every piece of Blue Fluted Plain is marked with a ‘1’.
