Pair of Louis XVI Style Marble and Gilt Bronze Candelabra
This pair, are top quality 19th century interpretations of the 18th century originals, and their equal in every way but price. Each vase-shaped body is applied with crisply modelled rams heads and swags of flowers and raised on a finely cast gilt bronze foot and square pedestal base. Unusually they are set with three-light candelabra naturalisticly modelled as leaves and buds in flowering branches.
These are exceptionally well made. Note the slim gilt plate under the square plinth, a coup de grace of care and quality.
