A rare pair of large French 19th century chandeliers. Each with six lights, the gilded shaped arms applied with opalescent beads, the central columns clad in shaped glass sleeves, the whole hung with drops and violin shaped crystals, with gilt bronze drip pans and nozzles. These were originally made for candles and later modified, the drip pans and sockets are later.
