An Antique 12 Light Neo-Renaissance Bronze and Wrought Iron Chandelier
Regular price
$0.00 CAD
This unusual chandelier is made in this rather rare lantern form but without being enclosed in glazed panels. It is hexagonal, with two lights on each side. The upper section is enclosed by an openwork panel of scrolls and masks, a motif repeated on the lower section too. The central iron rod is wrythen fluted and corresponds well to the other turned and bronze uprights. This is said to be from a New York mansion and evinces the high quality craftsmanship of the latter part of the 19th century.
Rewired to current North American electrical standards.
Finish has been cleaned.
As it stands, it is 49 inches overall but the chain can be adjusted.
