This celebrated American icon, a lion of chic and style is also celebrated for her playful collages. This is an especially successful round example, a form I have not seen before. It speaks to me of a Parisian cafe. The waiter suitably moustachioed and in a striped shirt, the green gingham, check and polka dot patterns evoke for me springtime in France.
It is charming to see the playful side of such a celebrated figure.
