Antique Louis XV Style Five-Panel Bronze Hall Lantern
Antique French Louis XV style bronze lantern. This traditional form is found often in French chateaux and Parisian hotels. This particular example dates from the Belle Époque period. It combines a strong yet slender bronze doré shell-crested frame with serpentine glass panels. The four lights can be modified to give a strong or subtle illumination depending on your requirements. The overall effect is light and airy. Unlike many such lanterns on offer this is actually genuinely old.
Originally for candles, this lantern has been wired for electricity.
Height listed is for body of lantern and canopy
