Large Silver Plated Covered Thermal Lemonade/Water Jug

This type of jug is quite often found but usually lacking the goblet, the removable plate or a part of the frame which is easily broken. This is a remarkable example in that it is in excellent undamaged condition, except for a minor fault in the plating, largely concealed by the frame., and a minor repair to the hinged cover. It is of a type only made in North America, with no European equivalent the jug is double sided like an Argyle, in this case to keep the contents as cool as possible. This particular example is made by the Toronto Silver Plating Co. It retains most of its original quadruple plate.
