Brutalist round chandelier made with three tiers of black wrought iron and brass pieces filled with square molded rossette glass pieces in assorted lively colors, 54 pieces in all. Its sturdy build requires a thick chain for hanging. Manufactured in the 1960s by Felipe Derflingher "Feders". It carries four regular porcelain sockets for standard E26 light bulbs, has a frosted plexiglass as a diffuser at the bottom. Feders lamps were manufactured in the city of Cuernavaca, State of Morelos, Mexico, and became very popular in Mexican homes in the 1960s and 1970s. In recent years they became very sought after pieces, the size of this chandelier is a very rare find. The chandelier has recently been rewired to North American standards.
