Late 19th Century Bronze Hanging Lantern
This large and impressive lantern was originally fitted for gas. It is tapering and hexagonal with each paneled side set with the original beveled grass plate. A broad cast band is applied to the top with a pebbled glass behind. This artfully provides more depth and subsequent relief to the decorative bronze panels. They stand out well when lit.
Rebuilt and rewired three lite central cluster.
Brass chain and ceiling canopy are not original.
Height of lantern and canopy as stated, we can lengthened by adding chain for your required height.
