Henri Etienne Dumaige 1830-1888 Cleopatra before Caesar, bronze
This bronze is found in several sizes. It alludes to the spectacular meeting of Caesar and Cleopatra. She arrives rolled up in a carpet. It draws on the painting 'Cleopatra before Caesar' by Jean-Leon Gérôme. The rouge marble base is included in the height as it is an integral part of the sculpture.
