This study is clearly by one who knows and loves children and looks with a sensitive eye. It is not easy to cast in bronze the fugitive nature of childhood but she succeeds admirably. She captures the curious and spirited boldness of the boy with a tender hand, The tee shirt collar is a nice touch. Lillian Katznelson died in 2008.
