This elegant chandelier dates from the third quarter of the 19th century, It was made for candles but we wired it (without damaging it) for your greater convenience. Its overall feel is one of openness and naturalistism. The suspension chains are pierced with acanthus and flower heads and buds. The candle cups and arms continue the organic theme. It has a central shaped opaline glass bowl with a ball and leafy cap as a finial. Although sophisticated, this chandelier has an engaging playfulness unusual in such a piece.
