From its pierced canopy to its panelled finial this fixture is original down to the pierced flat suspension chains. The six scrolling arms are mounted on a pierced band. The panelled candle sockets, finials and chains are partially gilt, providing a subtle counterpoint between silver and gold when lit. Although we have surfaced wired this it was originally for candles.
