This orientalist watercolor is of merchants trading by the Nile while fellucas ply the famous waterway, with a large Mosque in the background. Tony Binder is a well- known painter of such scenes and this is a good example of his work. Signed, titled and dated 1911, it is well presented and titled, in a glazed and gilt frame.
